45 Minute Timer
Forty-five minutes fits a full lesson, a test or a long practical. Keep the whole period on the board so students can pace themselves instead of asking how much time is left.

How do you use the 45 minute timer?
- The timer is already set to 45 minutes. Press Start or the Space bar to begin, and Space again to pause.
- Press Present (or F) to show it full screen. Pick Pie, Bar or Digits, and choose an end sound.
- When time is up you'll hear the chime and see "Time's up!". Press Start again for another round, or +1 min if the class needs longer.
Ways to use a 45 minute timer in class
- Full-period test: one clear countdown from the first question to pens down.
- Science practical: set up, carry out and clear away before the chime.
- Extended writing: plan, draft and check, with a glance at the board instead of the clock.

Can I use the forty-five minute timer for a whole lesson?
Yes. Start it as the lesson begins and the class can see the time left all period. If you started late, press Reset and set a shorter time, or press +1 min to add time as you go.
Can students see how much time is left from the back?
Press Present (or F) for a full-screen countdown. Digits show the exact minutes left, and Bar or Pie shows at a glance how much of the period has gone.
