Type anything onto the wheel, from names and numbers to prizes, topics or chores, then spin for a fair random pick. Take each result off as you go, or leave everything on and spin again.

What is a spinner wheel?
A spinner wheel is a digital wheel divided into slices, each holding one option, that spins and stops on one option at random. People use a spinner wheel when a choice has to look fair to everyone watching: picking a name, a prize, a question, a topic or whose turn is next. The Classroom Wheels spinner wheel lets you type your own options, one per line, and redraws the wheel as you type. The result is chosen with the browser's cryptographic random number generator before the wheel moves, so every slice has exactly the same chance. Results can be taken off the wheel after each spin so nothing comes up twice, or left on for repeated spins. Teachers can swap the typed list for a saved class with one click, and present mode shows the wheel full screen on a projector. The spinner wheel works on phones, tablets and computers, is free and needs no signup.
How do you make a spinner wheel?
- Replace the options in the box with your own list, one per line, or paste a list from anywhere. The wheel updates as you type.
- Press Spin, click the wheel or press Space. The wheel slows down and the result appears in the middle.
- Open Settings to take results off the wheel after each spin, or to change the colours, sounds and spin length. Press Present (or F) to show just the wheel on the board.
Which ready-made wheels can you spin?
Each of these wheels comes filled in, so there's nothing to type. Open one and spin it straight away.

Spinner wheel questions
Is the spinner wheel really random?
Yes. The result is picked with your browser's cryptographic random number generator before the wheel starts to move, and the animation simply lands on it. Every slice is the same size and has the same chance.
How many options can I put on the wheel?
As many as you need: one per line, up to 60 characters each. Repeated options are only added once, so every slice is different. Large lists make thin slices, so long lists are easiest to read in present mode.
How do I stop the same option coming up twice?
Open Settings and turn on Take winners off the wheel. Each result then leaves the wheel after it's picked, until every option has had a turn. Put back returns a result you took off by mistake.
What can I use a spinner wheel for?
Anything that needs a fair, visible choice: prizes and raffles, discussion questions, chores, game forfeits, what to eat, or a number between two values. For students' names, the name wheel uses your saved class.
Can I spin my class list on it?
Yes. If you have saved a class, press Use my class instead to swap your typed options for the present students' names, and Back to spinner wheel to return to your list.
Does the spinner wheel save my list?
Your list stays while the page is open and is never uploaded. For a list you use every week, save it as a class on the Your classes page, then spin it here or on the name wheel.
